China Solar Power to Promote Sunrise Industry in SIP

China Solar Power signed the contract with Suzhou Industrial Park (SIP) Administrative Committee on January 31 at SIPAC Building and became the first thin-film solar cell company in Weiting Town. The project will help the town to become a leader in the sector and promote the sunrise industry in SIP.

China Solar Power (CSP) is mainly engaged in the designing and production of state-of-the-art solar cell products to provide energy solutions to its customers in different areas. The company plans to invest 300 million US dollars in SIP to build an amorphous silicon solar cell production base, an R&D and test center with a total area of 30,000 square meters, a 15,000m2 agricultural experimentation center, and a 15,000m2 integrated development center.

CSP President Liu Jiren said his company favored the supporting facilities and talent policies in SIP and he expected that the production base would realize a capacity of 20 billion megawatts.
