SIP hosts forum on development of learning organizations

The SIP Forum on Development of Learning Organizations, a parallel event of the 2018 China Jinji Lake HR Summit, took place in SIP on Dec 28, 2018, gathering hundreds of officials, corporate education experts and enterprise representatives. Several heads of renowned corporate universities (referring to educational entities in corporations) and local learning organizations (referring to organizations where all their members are continually involved in the learning process) shared their expertise and good practices in helping companies foster individual and organizational learning and knowledge.

In his speech, Luo Ruijun, dean of Gold Mantis Business School, underlined that a learning organization should be able to offer inner training programs closely associated with its operations.

Hu Nianhua, executive president of Inovance University, the SIP-based training arm of Inovance, a Shenzhen-headquartered industrial automatic control product manufacturer, gave an introduction to the university's role in helping the company secure a sustainable development.

After that, representatives from two local companies shared their practices in talent training and encouraging learning among their staff.

The last part was a roundtable, where several of the participating officials, corporate university executives and HR professionals discussed key strategies for development of learning organizations and answered other participants' inquiries.

It is learnt that SIP has been offering subsidies to learning organizations and corporate universities since 2017 and launched research programs early this year to help them seek a scientific and standardized development.
