SIP hosts annual event to seek innovative development and commend outstanding talents and enterprises
SIP authority hosted the 2018 SIP Innovative Development Conference cum Jinji Lake Talent Awarding Ceremony at Modern Building on Dec 20, discussing strategies for innovative development and commending individuals and enterprises with excellent performance in their fields.
Li Yaping, deputy secretary of CPC Suzhou Committee and Suzhou mayor, and Wu Qingwen, member of the Standing Committee of CPC Suzhou Committee and secretary of SIP Party Working Committee, revealed in their speeches the future plans of Suzhou government and SIP authority for talent introduction and business support. They also jointly unveiled the nameplate for Suzhou Intellectual Property Protection Center that will open in SIP soon.
Concurrently, 263 individuals including entrepreneurs, researchers, technicians, teachers and financial service staff received the honor of "Jinji Lake Talent", which is awarded on a yearly basis since 2010 to people with outstanding contributions to SIP's development, and 52 enterprises received the honor of "Forerunner in Science and Technology Development".
