Digital monitoring system helps ban illegal ads

SIP Digital Urban Management and Command Center recently joined hands with a third-party inspection company to launch a one-month campaign against illegal advertisements, especially those on cigarettes, which not only affect the urban landscape but also beget fake and shoddy products.

The inspectors have exposed 615 cases through the center's digital monitoring system and removed 2,045 pieces of illegal advertisements so far. They also have tracked down four violators through telephone numbers left on the advertisements.

However, it is not enough. The center has enhanced the connection of the digital monitoring system with related departments and called on the local residents to participate in the campaign to eliminate the illegal advertisements.
