Xietang Sub-district Office of Justice released a micro film on pet keeping through its official website on Dec 25, with the purpose of enhancing the local residents' legal awareness concerning pets.

The production of the short film took more than two months, and a number of staff at the Office of Justice, Police Station and community neighborhood committees of Xietang Sub-district were cast in it.

The story is based on an unverified on-line allegation of pet abuse to tell people what they should and should not do when they keep a pet as well as how to deal with related legal issues.
