Weiting Sub-district hosted a parent-child sports meet themed "Passion for Soccer" on Dec 23. More than 50 families competed in a series of games and 20 volunteers provided assistance in the event.

The families, in four groups, first competed in the dribbling relay, rebound ball, soccer curling and soccer collecting games, which are actually tests of teamwork, skills, speed and endurance. Finally, a family emerged as winner after defeating their opponents in the overtime.

Afterwards, the children participated in two group contests amidst cheers and applause of their parents and friends.

The event offered a chance for the parents and children to do physical exercises together as well as increased their interest in soccer.
