Jiangsu government recently released this year's Innovation and Entrepreneurship Talents Supporting Program. A total of 18 individuals and two teams from SIP are on the list. In addition, the results of the 2017 Suzhou Top Talents Appraisal was revealed, and 30 individuals and two teams from SIP appear on the list. SIP ranks first in Suzhou in terms of the number of talents and teams on the two lists.

It is worth mentioning that most of the talents and teams come from the sectors covered by SIP's priority development plans, such as bio-medicine, electronic information, new materials and new equipment. Especially, 65% of those under the provincial program and 46% of those under the municipal program are from the bio-medicine sector. In addition, 42 people on the two lists had been identified as "SIP's Leading Talents in Science and Technology Development" before the release of the two lists.

Such achievements have proved the effectiveness of SIP's innovative talent cultivation mode adopted in recent few years, namely continuous expansion of talent introduction channels to meet the local needs as well as increasing improvement of services for the talents.
