Strict checks against traffic violations

According to Suzhou Traffic Police Detachment, traffic police will carry out strict checks against various traffic violations towards the end of the year and vehicles with over 15 unresolved violations will be detained, if their owners fail to pay the penalty within 60 days after receiving official notification.

The emphasis of the strict checks, however, will be laid on vehicles with over 50 unresolved violations. Since these vehicles have serious potential safety hazard, the traffic police authorities have entered their plate numbers into intelligent traffic system and will exercise all-the-way check and control.

The traffic police will turn on the intelligent traffic system to take concerted action involving all the duty points across the city in the action.

Take SIP for instance, the intelligent traffic system activated by SIP Traffic Police Brigade will trigger the alarm system once it catches a target vehicle on the road, and the nearby traffic policemen on duty will lose no time to catch up with and stop the vehicle after getting instructions.
