According to SIP public security authorities, SIP will implement traffic control to prevent possible congestion on Christmas Eve, Dec 24, in the following areas: CBD to the west of Jinji Lake, INCITY neighborhood, CWD to the east of Jinji Lake, Link City, and Aeon Mall.

If the traffic police confirm the saturation of traffic flow and parking space in the above areas, one-way traffic will be carried out at the main intersections on the surrounding roads; drivers should follow traffic lights and traffic police's directions.

Intersections involved:

Huachi Street-Modern Avenue north-south direction, Huachi Street-Suzhou Avenue north-south direction, Modern Avenue-Linglong Street north-south direction, Xinghu Street-Suzhou Avenue north-south direction, Xinghu Street-Wangdun Road north-south direction, Xinghu Street-Zhongyuan Road north-south direction, Xinghu Street-Xizhou Road north-south direction, Xinghai Street-Modern Avenue all directions, Xinghai Street-Suxiu Road north-south direction, Xinghai Street-Suya Road north-south direction, Xinghai Street-Suzhou Avenue all directions, Xinghai Street-Suhui Road north-south direction.

Drivers going to the east of Jinji Lake are advised to park their cars at the parking lot of SIP Administrative Committee and Wangdun Road parking lot. If traffic gets really heavy, the following sections will also be subjected to traffic control:

Flow control on Linglong Street exit and Xinghu Street exit on the elevated road;

At the three intersections, namely, Huachi Street-Modern Avenue, Huachi Street-Suzhou Avenue, Huachi Street-Wangdun Road, south-to-north outflow will be OK and north-to-south inflow will be suppressed;

At Xinghu Street-Modern Avenue to Xinghu Street-Xizhou Road, south-to-north left turn will be fully controlled to relieve the traffic pressure on commercial area;

As to the commercial area to the west of Jinji Lake, depending on the traffic flow, one-way inflow might be exercised at Xinghai Street-Suxiu Road to Xinghai Street-Suhui Road;

The traffic flow at Modern Avenue-S227 intersection will be manually directed; the traffic light time for south-north left turn will be lengthened during the (theatre, cinema) let-out period.
