The picture above shows that some passengers get off from the extension of Suzhou Rail Transit Line 2 after trial ride and visit Moon Bay station, acclaimed as the most beautiful rail transit station so far in Suzhou.

The extension line includes northward and eastward sections, with a total length of 15.6 kilometers and 13 underground stations. Starting from Suzhou North Railway Station, the 1.8-kilometer northward section passes Fuxiang Road and ends at Qihe, with both two stations in Xiangcheng District. The 13.8-kilometer eastward section starts from Baodaiqiao South Station, and ends at Sangtian Island in Suzhou Industrial Park, passing across the Beijing-Hangzhou Grand Canal, Yinshan Lake and Moon Harbor Area, with 11 stations interspersed in Wuzhong District and SIP. The extension of Suzhou Rail Transit Line 2 is to be put into soft opening by the end of September.
