Survey Results Published on 2015 Wages and Benefits of Suzhou Key Industries


On December 22, Suzhou Industrial Park Human Resource R&D Center convened the release conference, where the "Report on 2015 Wages and Benefits of Suzhou Key Industries" was officially published (hereafter referred to the "Report").

The wages and benefits survey attracted the participation of 301 enterprises from SIP, New District, Xiangcheng District, Wuzhong District, Kunshan City, Zhangjiagang City, Changshu City, Taicang City and Wujiang City. The survey involved 3 sectors (manufacturing, high-tech and service) and 6 industries (electronics/semi-conductor, machinery/electro-mechanics, aviation/automobile, chemical engineering/energy, medicine/food/medical devices, software integrated circuit deisgn/IC/communication/cloud computing), with 70,739 samples collected.

The survey results revealed that the actual annual remuneration in cash is 66,600 yuan, and employees from software industry outperformed others with an average remuneration in cash of 112,000 yuan; in 2015, the starting monthly pay of junior school, high school/vocational school and junior college undergraduate, master and PHD graduate was respectively 1,945 yuan, 2,000 yuan, 2,530 yuan, 3,300 yuan, 4,500 yuan, and 5,900 yuan.
