Suzhou Industrial Park held a meeting of work report on the inspection of accountability system for Party style building and honest administration and the campaign against corruption on December 16 in response to the requirements stated in the 18th Party congress and the 3rd, 4th, and 5th plenary sessions of the 18th Central Committee of the Communist Party of China as well as in the series of important speeches of General Party Secretary Xi Jinping.

To put the accountability in place and to build an adequate punishment and prevention system against corruption, SIP requires strict clarification and implementation of the responsibilities of Party committees and Party disciplinary inspection committees, and the institutionalization of assessment system for the "two responsibilities". The meeting stressed the importance of special education on down-to-earth Party style and honest administration in a normalized manner. As for the feedback comments of the inspection team of the Provincial Party Committee, SIP is to work out rectification plans and consolidate the tangible results of such rectifications. Special inspections will be organized in conjunction with supervision by the public to achieve good results in building good Party style among the Party members. No leniency shall be tolerated in handling cases of corruption, and civilized handling of cases according to law and Party discipline should be adhered to with high vigilance.
