Seven More Cloud Incubators Unveiled in InnoCorridor
Seven more cloud technology incubators held a group plaque-unveiling ceremony in Suzhou Industrial Park, increasing the total number to 17 to create a comprehensive service platform for startup businesses in the sector.
The first 10 incubators were founded in June and marked the effort of local government in exploring new ways of serving budding businesses. Yunfan Mobile Medicine, Cross-Border Innovation, Supply Chain Finance, and Nanhu Dream Startup Incubator of SDU Suzhou Institute are among the second batch, centering on cloud technology and covering the fields of smart medicine, mobile application, and Internet financing.
Local authorities announced a special "Cloud Program" and encouraged startup teams to apply for annual subsidy on best business plans. So far over 200 teams have presented their projects at 7 road shows scheduled once every two weeks.
The mission of these incubators is to provide commercialization service to businesses at three different stages of startup, growth, and acceleration by involving companies, media, capital, colleges, and research institutes so as to realize the shift from administrative to market behaviors and to improve both startup service efficiency and success rate of incubation.
