Annie Tang's Family Recognized as Role Model by Municipal Women's Federation


Suzhou Municipal Women's Federation recently announced the model civilized families and Annie Tang's family is on the list.

Annie has been an enthusiastic volunteer, and since 2000 she has helped lots of kids go back to school with support of her British husband, John Johnson, two kids, and a group of friends.

The family settled down at Royal Peninsula in Suzhou Industrial Park in 2009 and offered financial support to students in Suzhou, Yunnan, Shanxi, Sichuan, Shandong, and Guizhou. With their help, Dan Dan, a girl from remote mountainous area in Shanxi Province, studied abroad and got a job after graduation; Liu Yanzhi became the only one to go to college from her village in Guizhou.

To raise money for those in need, Annie ran marathon for charity, John played guitar and sang on street, and the two kids signed up for charity performance. In August, Annie called her WeChat friends to chip in on a special program and put 131 kids back to school.
