5th China-Canada Jinji Lake International Education Symposium Held in SIP
At the 5th Jinji Lake International Education Symposium jointly launched by Suzhou Industrial Park Education Bureau and the education authority of Halifax Regional Municipality, Canada, on December 15, the headmasters of primary and high schools in both countries gathered at Dongshahu School discussing new teaching concept and methods of basic education in the world. The two partners renewed the agreement on more extensive cooperation. Local Jinji Lake School and Xingzhou School also found sister schools in Canada.
The symposium connects the education communities, facilitates communications, and promotes explorations on teaching programs, teachers' training and improvement, and school management.
Since its inauguration in 2008, the symposium has discussed different themes of school education and assessment, quality education, and culture construction. This year's event continues the tradition of promoting education and at the same time helps SIP in opening-up and development.
