China Taxation Publishing House published in September the two-volume and 51-chapter Tax Law of Singapore, translated into Chinese by Suzhou Industrial Park Local Taxation Bureau.

Singapore is a commonwealth country and its legal system is based on the English common law system while catering to the country's export-oriented economy. With complete and regulatory tax law as well as mature and standard taxation system, Singapore ranks the second in the world in terms of tax collection cost ration only after the U.S., which makes it a good example for local tax bureau to learn from in order to achieve the 2020 goals set up by the State Administration of Taxation.
