A grand event consisting of two orienteering races and an indoor “marathon” kicked off at Jinji Lake Urban Square, SIP’s Jinji Lake CBD on Jan 1, as a way to celebrate the New Year’s Day. Many local residents and enterprise employees participated. 

 

Lots of the participants challenged themselves to finish the 10-kilometer orienteering around Jinji Lake, while a number of families took part in the 3-kilometer parent-child orienteering that included a rowboat tour allowing them to enjoy the beautiful scenery at Jinji Lake.

 

The “marathon” took place in Zhonghai Fortune Center, one of 34 upscale commercial buildings in Jinji Lake CBD. The participants were required to accomplish a succession of tasks in running upstairs toward the destination at the 41st floor.
