Sponsored by Asia-pacific Tourism Organization (APTO) and organized by Sodo Tourism Group (STG), an SIP-based tourist project designer, the 2019 (2nd) China New Tourism & New Experience Suzhou Forum kicked off in SIP on Aug 28. Representatives from over 200 organizations and a host of entrepreneurs, experts and scholars from the tourism circle participated to brainstorm for high-quality development of cultural tourism.

 

The event included speeches, dialogues and an industry information release for the participants to learn more about the latest cultural tourism development and share their opinions on strategies of pursuing a stronger tourism development by incorporating cultural experiences into tourist activities. 

 

In addition, eight organizations announced at the event to form China New Cultural Tourism Cooperation Federation, while STG signed agreements with four of its partners to launch cooperation in such projects as those designed to develop an eco-friendly smart traffic system used in scenic areas and offer training to tourist service personnel. 

 

There was also an award ceremony where a number of tourism companies and tourist projects received awards from APTO.
