A total of 900 kids and their parents will participate in the 6th China Annual Ronald McDonald House Kids Charity Fun Run organized by Mcdonald’s China at SIP’s Yangcheng Lake Peninsula Tourist Resort (YLPTR) on Aug 24.

It is learnt that events of the kind are held across the world each year to raise money for Ronald McDonald House which, a charity project initiated by American fast food giant Mcdonald’s Corporation, is dedicated to provide temporary housing for children suffering diseases and their families while the children are receiving treatment at medical institutions far away from their homes.

 

The event will consist of a 3-kilometer running race and a list of interesting games. All the participants will wear parent-child attires offered by the event organizer, and those finishing the race will receive the finishing medal.
