The Suzhou leg of International Super Cup (ISC), a football event jointly sponsored by Kaisa Culture & Sports Group, a private operator of cultural and sporting venues in China, and its peer company Suzhou New Times Group in SIP, kicked off at Suzhou Olympic Sports Centre, SIP on July 30. In the event, French football giant Paris Saint-Germain (PSG) faced A-League champion Sydney FC.

Both teams played with their best lineups, including superstars like Neymar, Kylian Mbappe, Adam Le Fondre and Miloš Ninković. After a fierce competition, PSG won with a 3-0 victory, and Kevin Trapp, PSG’s goalkeeper, took home the MVP award. 

 

Apart from the match, there were also a football carnival and chances for fans to interact with the players.

 

It is learnt Kaisa initiated the ISC program this summer, planning to host in the country at least two matches between world-class football clubs each year.
