Many SIP residents must have noticed the rows of publicity boards at six local neighborhood centers and an airport bus station, with both texts and pictures about consular services provided by the country’s diplomatic agents to Chinese citizens living or traveling overseas. It is learnt that Suzhou Center for Consular Assistance and Protection and SIP Foreign Affairs Office are teaming up in a campaign to help local citizens know better about the consular services available to them. 

The campaign is one of a series of events scheduled across Suzhou to ensure the citizens to be well-informed of the channels through which they can seek protection and assistance when they are in other countries and regions.

The boards offer specific information about China’s embassies and consulates and their services, and give examples based on real cases to help the viewers better understand the content.
