SIP really deserves the honor as a nationwide leader in tourism development, and visitors to the Suzhou International Tourism Expo (SZITE) in SIP from Mar 8 to 10 would all agree to that, since the tourism resources in the area are so stunning.

SIP's about-600-square-meter pavilion at the expo showcases a dazzling variety of tourist routes and products featuring the most sought-after tourist attractions in Jinji Lake Scenic Area and Yangcheng Lake Peninsula Tourist Resort (YLPTR). There is also VR equipment on site for visitors to experience the cycling tour at YLPTR, and exhibits about Suzhou Jinji Lake International Half Marathon and other events to demonstrate SIP’s achievements in incorporating tourism with sports, healthcare and other sectors.

Apart from that, on display are many traditional local handcrafts like Suzhou-style folding fans, nut carvings, embroideries and New Year paintings, paired with activities for visitors to learn to make their own handiworks.
