The 15th Suzhou (Spring) Wedding Fair held at SIP's Suzhou International Expo Centre (SZIEC) from Feb 23 to 25 set a good example for environment-friendly exhibitions.

As a member of China Convention & Exhibition Alliance, a non-profit organization formed in Beijing in 2016 to promote adoption and practices of environmental protection concepts among convention and exhibition organizers, attendees and related service suppliers, SZIEC made great efforts to ensure all booths at the event were installed and decorated in ways that can help avoid material waste and pollution to environment.

Specifically, SZIEC required the exhibitors to use environment-friendly materials to build and decorate their booths, and carried out strict review of their solutions.

It is disclosed that SZIEC is planning to take a series of measures this year to learn experience and improve its services to help host more low-carbon, low-cost and low-energy-consuming events.
