Kempinski Hotel Suzhou Welcomes New General Manager

10 April 2018 – Ferry Warnke has been appointed as the new general manager of Kempinski Hotel Suzhou and will take responsibility for all aspects of Kempinski Hotel Suzhou's operations, enhancing employee development, guest satisfaction, strategic planning and brand recognition.

Born and raised in Germany, Mr Warnke has a master's degree in Hotel Business Administration from the Bavaria Professional School of Hospitality in Germany and speaks fluent English, Russian and basic French, in addition to his mother tongue. He has joined the hotel from his most recent position as General Manager of Kempinski Hotel Yinchuan.

Looking back on over 20 years in the hospitality field, Mr Warnke has developed his career in various luxury corporate and resort complexes across Europe, North America, Australia and Asia, where he represented well-known international brands such as the Savoy Group, Fairmont and Swissotel in the role of General Manager, which involved property openings, transitions or renovations. His well-rounded background in the industry will be a driving force in helping Kempinski Hotel Suzhou maintain its excellent reputation in terms of products, services and facilities.
