Yangcheng Lake Peninsula Tourist Resort (YLPTR) received more than 200,000 tourists during the Spring Festival holiday from Feb 15 to 21. The total income of its major tourist attractions reached RMB 45.5262 million, up 4.09% year-on-year, while that of the local hotels reached RMB 1.5652 million, up 8.09% year-on-year.

Such outcomes should be partly attributed to the elaborately designed festival events across the area. For example, the yearly joss-stick ceremonies at Chongyuan Temple on New Year's day, the sales promotions at Yi'oulai Suzhou Village and the tailored services at Ziyichuan Resort & Spa Hotel and other starred hotels all attracted many people.

On the other hand, the lakeside cycling and the orienteering activities maintained high popularity among the outdoor exercise ethusiasts during the festival.  

Apart from that, YLPTR's considerate services also contributed to the continuous inflow of tourists. Its safety precautions and emergency response plans helped maintain an orderly and safe environment during the period, and the services at its nine tourist service centers provided great convenience to the tourists.
