Yangcheng Lake Peninsula Tourist Resort (YLPTR) is expected to soon launch a series of events themed "Winter Health Maintenance in YLPTR", according to an official of YLPTR.

A children's self-balancing scooter race and an orienteering event are on the schedule, designed to meet different age groups' needs for outdoor sports and recreation.

The Ziyichuan Resort & Spa Hotel, which got popular on line, will offer a number of services tailored for Christmas, such as discount packages for food and Spa baths as well as opportunities for customers to experience pottery making.

Chongyuan Temple, a Buddhist temple in the area, will continue to open for prayers around the Chinese New Year, which, reckoned on the first day of the first month on the Chinese lunar calendar, will fall on Feb 16, 2018. It will host a variety of traditional celebrations at the same time.

Moreover, there will be lion dance celebrations, Christmas mass and art exhibitions among other events that will allow the tourists to enjoy a happy holiday at YLPTR this winter.
