French professor gives advice on revitalizing traditional handicrafts

One of the Allure-LISAA Art Classes, a serial China-France art exchange program, took place at Suzhou Jinji Lake Exhibition Hall on Nov 22. Prof. Ivan Coste-Manière, program director of the Luxury & Fashion Management MSc at SKEMA Business School, gave a talk on traditional handicraft development and marketing based on successful French practices in luxury manufacturing, management and marketing.

In the event, Prof. Ivan Coste-Manière made specific analysis of the traditional Suzhou-style handicrafts and gave his advice on how to inherit and innovate on these handicrafts in accordance with market demand and how to bring them into the high-end consumer market. His opinions and advice inspired the local participants.
