The Suzhou delegation, led by Suzhou Tourism Administration's deputy director Lu Feng, promoted Suzhou's tourism resources in Xi'an, capital of Northwest China's Shaanxi province, from Sept 6 to 9, in an effort to solicit tourists from the areas along the high-speed railways.

Mainly targeting individual tourists, the event incorporated a specific introduction to a number of Suzhou's tourist attractions, including the city's ancient urban area, Suzhou-style gardens, ancient towns as well as Jinji Lake, Taihu Lake and Yangcheng Lake scenic spots.

Representative from Yangcheng Lake Peninsula Tourist Resort (YLPTR), the only national tourist resort in Suzhou, explained in detail YLPTR's tourism resources, operation mode, innovative tourist products and high-end tourism carriers to the local media and counterparts.
