Yangcheng Lake Peninsula Tourist Resort (YLPTR) was declared the "Most Popular Tourist Resort" at the 2017 Red Coral Award of Asia Tourism held on Aug 31.

As one of China's first national tourist resorts, YLPTR boasts plenty of valuable natural resources and a development concept incorporating health services. Currently, it is well-known as the host of three renowned national sports events, namely Chinese Cycling League, China Orienteering and China Model Airplanes Competition. Additionally, it has promoted a series of branded seasonal events, such as the International Fashion Festival, the Bicycling Carnival and the Interesting Orienteering activities, which are well received by the tourists.

Based on international tourism development experience, YLPTR plans to further improve its functions and products for recreational tourism by incorporating more elements to meet the demands of different customer groups.
