SIP-based Tongcheng Travel (LY.com) brought out its latest pole-directed cruise routes on March 22. The destination of the first route this year is North Pole, and the cruise ship is to set sail in June.

The pole-directed cruise routes for the year 2017 and 2018 include two South-Pole-directed routes, two North-Pole-directed routes, and one "Pole to Pole" route. The "Pole to Pole" route starts from North Pole and ends in South Pole after 88 days, with 65 stops along the way, passing Spitsbergen, Iceland, Greenland, west coast of Europe, Amazon, Falkland, South Georgia, etc. The route, the first of its kind in the world, is developed by Hurtigruten.
