The Yangchenghu Peninsula Tourist Resort (YPTR) management has tailored a unique tourism plan for tourists and Suzhou citizens during the Spring Festival holiday. The following are some of the activities during the holiday period.

People can take part in "Shao touxiang" activity (being one of the first to burn incense on the first day of the Lunar New Year for the blessings of gods and goddesses) at Chongyuan Temple on Jan. 28. During the holiday, several other activities will be held in the temple, including Buddhist service for praying for good fortune, tolling bell to welcome Chinese New Year, praying for success in official examinations and welcoming God of Wealth.
