Bank of Suzhou is to sponsor the first Jinji Lake Walking on October 12 and invite several Olympic medalists to join in the 5-kilometer walk. Starting from Ligongdi at nine in the morning, the walkers are to take the route of Jinji Lake Avenue, Shuifang Road, Xingzhou Street, before returning to Ligongdi Street. The organizer does not keep record on finish time and all those reaching the finish line before the gate closes are eligible for the final lucky draw.

You can also sign up as a group if you can call in at least 20 people. The organizer admits 3,000 walkers and charges 30 yuan for each applicant.
