Another five-star hotel, Hyatt Regency Suzhou, held a grand opening ceremony in Suzhou Industrial Park on August 23. The hotel is jointly invested by Hyatt Hotels Corporation, a leader in hospitality industry, and Jinghope Holdings Pte. Ltd., one of the leading property developers and lifestyle enterprises in Singapore.

Located at Jinghope Plaza at the center of Hudong area, the hotel is within walking distance of Jinji Lake, Ferris Wheel Park, Suzhou International Expo Center, and Suzhou Culture & Arts Center, and other dining, shopping, and entertaining facilities. With Times Square Station of Rail Transit Line 1 at doorstep, it is also convenient for guests to go to downtown area for sightseeing.

The hotel has 355 guest rooms, five restaurants and bars, and a 1,400-square-meter multi-functional hall for meetings, banquets, and wedding ceremonies. The guests will find on the third floor Yue Spa, the first in Chinese mainland with a 24-hour gym center, a temperature-controlled 25-meter indoor swimming pool, steam room, sauna and whirlpools. At the opening ceremony, the hotel and Jinghope presented a 400,000-yuan check to SIP Charity Federation for walking assist device leasing and kids with critical medical conditions. There are at present more than ten 5-star hotels in SIP with average occupancy rate of over 60%.
