SIP’s Xinghai Life Plaza was full of festive air on Jan 15 when an event was underway there to give local citizens gifts and blessings in the coming of the Chinese Spring Festival that will fall on Jan 25. The Publicity Department of CPC SIP Working Committee organized the event in collaboration with SIP Public Culture Center and the shopping plaza’s operator.

In the event, a number of calligraphers wrote Spring Festival couplets for the participating citizens to use as decorations during the festival.
The event also offered the participants chances to try their hands on different folk handicrafts to make their own Spring Festival pictures and gadgets for their festival celebrations.
