Communities in SIP’s Dongshahu sub-district recently hosted a variety of events in the hope of leading the local residents to make reading a new lifestyle.

　　 

Jinxinan Community joined hands with Suzhou Dushu Lake Library on Nov 30 to host an event at Phoenix New Land Square to introduce the library’s online book borrowing and returning system to the passersby. The digital services make it easy to borrow books from the library.

　　 

Zhongnan Community organized an event on Dec 2 when a number of youngsters shared with each other a story or a paragraph from their favorite books, and each of them received a book from the community staff.
