SIP’s Linglongwan Community hosted a cultural exhibition on Nov 2, offering the local residents a chance to immerse themselves in the splendid traditional and modern Chinese culture.

On display are 85 calligraphy and painting works which, created by local adults and children to depict their love for the community and the country, amazed the visitors.
Several local calligraphy enthusiasts improvised works on site, while a group of children drew pictures to portray the beauty of the community.

In addition, six booths with craftspeople demonstrating Chinese intangible cultural heritage handicrafts of paper folding, paper cutting, dough modeling, palm leaf braiding, sugar painting and sugar figurine making, caught the attention of many people.

The event also included a public lecture where a local volunteer imparted knowledge on garbage classification to 40 pupils from SIP Xingwan School and guided them to practice waste sorting skills with cards and trash can models.
