A total of 21 community-based social organization councils attended the evaluation at Jingcheng Community Club, SIP’s Hudong sub-district on Oct 31, showcasing their outcomes in joining the efforts of local social organizations to serve the residents. 

 

It is learnt that Hudong sub-district, currently with a total of 372 social organizations, launched the “Matrix Initiative” in 2017 to encourage local social organizations in the same community to form councils to share their resources and collaborate in serving local residents. The evaluation is conducted annually ever since to assess the work performance of the social organization councils. 

 

In the event, the social organization councils presented their projects and answered the jury panel’s questions. The top three place winners then emerged and received certificates of honor along with money awards.
