The 4th SIP Children’s Painting and Calligraphy Exhibition opened at SIP Cultural Centre on Oct 19, and will last till Nov 7. On display are 96 painting and calligraphy works by a number of local children to depict their love for the motherland. 

 

It is reported that the exhibits were selected from 433 entries collected since July based on rounds of evaluations and deliberations of experts from Suzhou Calligraphers Association and Suzhou Artists Association.

 

According to a source from SIP Working Committee on Women and Children, one of the event sponsors, event of the kind is held every year since 2016 to offer children in SIP opportunities to showcase their talents and skills in painting and traditional Chinese handwriting.
