Weiting Sub-district Federation of Trade Unions and Working Committee on Women and Children jointly organized a lecture on Oct 18 in a move to disseminate good family traditions and doctrines among the local residents.

 

In the event, Zhou Xiaoping, a senior sinology teacher and member of Suzhou Confucianism Research Society, shared with the audiences the traditions and doctrines of a number of Chinese families that were famous in the history, including several in Suzhou. He explained to the audiences in detail the significance and influence of the traditions and doctrines to the families and the later generations.
