A number of young cadres who are attending the “Fuel the Growth of Young Cadres” training program run by the Organization Department of the CPC SIP Working Committee and the Communist Youth League SIP Working Committee had a debate on the relations between industrial development and business environment on Sept 10. A group of local officials served as jurors in the event. 

 

The event was expected to help the participants sharpen their logical and critical thinking and gain better expressive and receptive language skills. It included opening statements, questions, arguments and closing statements where two teams, each with three members, discussed whether optimized business environment drives industrial development or industrial development drives optimization of business environment. 

 

It is worth mentioning that several of the audiences were allowed to join the arguments to root for the team they supported.

 

At the end, the jurors gave high comments on the debaters’ performance in the event..
