Chances at book fair to interact with renowned writers

The 9th Jiangsu Book Fair scheduled at SIP’s Suzhou International Expo Centre (SZIEC) from June 27 to 30 is offering the visitors chances to interact with the country’s top writers.
Zhao Benfu, whose novelette A World Without Thieves was adapted to the 2004 hit movie of the same name and several novels turned to popular Chinese TV series, shared his insights on Chinese culture and modern and contemporary Chinese literature with the readers at SZIEC on June 27.
Also at SZIEC, Yang Bo, author of Crossing-the-Yangtze-River Campaign, a book about an important military campaign in 1949 during the Chinese civil war, will give a talk on the book and its creation on June 28, while Cao Wenxuan, a renowned writer in children’s literature and one of the winners of the 2016 Hans Christian Andersen Awards, will share his reading methods and feelings the next day.
