Lights at Modern Media Square, Harmony Constellation Building and several other landmark buildings in SIP's Jinji Lake CBD were turned off from 8:30 pm to 9:30 pm on Mar 30 as part of the annual worldwide Earth Hour movement organized by the World Wide Fund for Nature to spread awareness about sustainability and climate change.

Before the lights went dark, a series of activities were held, including art performances and a public lecture on garbage classification aimed at increasing the public's awareness of environmental protection.
