Jinji Lake CBD in SIP has pulled off a great success in luring and retaining high-growth businesses since June 2018 when the local authorities launched the "Set Sail from Jinji Lake" program to host various events to better bolster local businesses. Statistics show that, so far, about 20 events have been held under the program to help the businesses overcome various challenges and increase their employees' sense of happiness.

For example, there were free lectures on healthcare and flower arrangement for female workers, information sessions on local policies, training sessions on safe and eco-friendly production, and various networking and partnering events. The events and related services have enhanced local businesses' confidence in seeking continuous expansion in the area and helped lure more newcomers.

According to the local authorities, they plan to host at least 60 events this year under the program. In a recent event, several administrative offices jointly gave the participating enterprises a specific introduction to procedures of applying for work permits and visas for foreign experts.
