A delegation of 28 teachers and students from a Danish school recently paid a 7-day visit to SIP Xinghai Experimental Middle School where they experienced a series of education modes featuring distinctive local characteristics and gained a good knowledge of local culture.

In part of the event, the Danish students attended several classes as observers for a comprehensive understanding of the school's courses and teaching approaches. The girls in the delegation also had the chance to take a calisthenics lesson together with a group of Chinese girls.

In another part, the delegation members learnt traditional Chinese painting, embroidering, tie-dye and shadowboxing skills, and joined a biological experiment devised for first-year high school students.

Apart from that, the Danish teachers and students visited Suzhou Museum, Suzhou Culture and Arts Centre and several local scenic spots where they learnt more about Suzhou culture.
