Suzhou Culture and Arts Centre (SCAC) in SIP released its 2019 program schedule on Feb 26, unveiling a long list of performances and movies that are expected to feast the audiences' eyes and ears during the rest of this year.

The performances will include musicals and modern dramas given by top-notch domestic and overseas artists. For example, there will be Broadway show School of Rock from May to June, French musical Romeo and Juliet in July as well as Broadway and West End production Evita and Chinese version of Mamma Mia in October.

It is noteworthy that the School of Rock cast including the leading actor Joe Kosky showed up at the event and shared their stories about the work.

Apart from that, there will be 48 children's plays adapted from classic fairy tales, along with interesting parent-child activities. Besides, documentaries A Beautiful Planet and Panda as well as several opera-adapted movies from National Center for the Performing Arts will be screened.
