At the invitation of SIP Labor Pooling Working Group which is pushing on the "Labor Pooling" program in SIP in an attempt to lend local enterprises a hand in their recruitment, 18 SIP-based manufacturing and service enterprises recently took part in a job fair at Songtao Miao autonomous county in Southwest China's Guizhou province, hoping to help more people in the poverty-stricken area land jobs.

At the event, the enterprises offered about 1,000 job vacancies to the local job hunters based on the working group's early survey on local labor resources and job hunters’ needs. The working group introduced their WeChat program to the local participants so that they can get the latest on-line information about job opportunities in SIP.

Considering many of the applicants are from minority ethnic groups who have special living habits, the working group promised to feed back their needs to the employers so that they can offer effective solutions. Moreover, it will keep in contact with local authorities to help better match local laborers with SIP-based employers.
