SIP hosts sodality to tighten ties with enterprises

With the approaching of the New Year's Day, SIP authority organized a sodality at Jinji Lake Concert Hall of Suzhou Culture and Arts Centre on Dec 14, in a move to tighten ties with domestic and overseas enterprises in the area. More than 500 enterprise representatives participated. It is learnt that SIP has kept for many years the tradition of holding an event of the kind each year.

At the beginning, Wu Qingwen, member of the Standing Committee of CPC Suzhou Committee and secretary of SIP Party Working Committee, delivered a speech, in which he expressed appreciation for the enterprises' support in local economic innovation and industrial restructuring.

After that, Suzhou Symphony Orchestra and renowned Chinese erhu (a bowed two-stringed traditional Chinese instrument) performer Duan Aiai jointly gave a concert. Chen Xieyang, renowned Chinese conductor and SZSO's music director, led the performance.
