The 2018 Suzhou Golf Amateur Championship (SZGAC) kicked off at Jinji Lake Golf Club, SIP on Oct 30. A total of 120 local golf enthusiasts are scheduled to compete in two preliminaries and two finals respectively on the day and Nov 6, 29 and 30 for the men's and women's titles.

SZGAC, an annual event sponsored by Suzhou Golf Association, is designed to offer local amateur golfers chances to gain a better understanding of the sport and enhance their skills through interaction with each other.

The event is a stroke-play competition where the competitor who plays the stipulated rounds in the fewest strokes is the winner. A scoring and agenda software used in the previous sessions continues to serve the event to ensure it a fair play.
