Located east of Xinghu Street and south of Middle Suhong Road, the "Shared Home" Apartment, SIP's first garden-like apartment for rent, recently came into operation. It is learnt that over half of 349 rooms on offer have been rent out so far.

The apartment, a renovation of an old dormitory complex, consists of three six-floor buildings with a total of 557 rooms which boast interior fittings in five styles to meet different groups' demands.

"The rooms, each with a floor area of about 40 sqm, cost from RMB 2,600 to 3,800 depending on their types and locations," said Sheng Kefeng from the project undertaker SIP Urban Renovation & Development Co Ltd, revealing that each eligible tenant can enjoy a government subsidy ranging from RMB 450 to 750 each month.

In addition to a beautiful environment, the project is equipped with fitness room, café, activity rooms and supermarket as well as 24-hour security guard and steward services to help the tenants live a higher-quality life here.
