The 2018 "Jiangsu Houde Cup" China City Street Karting cum 3rd Suzhou Karting League kicked off in SIP on Oct 21, attracting many spectators.

SIP hosted the kart racing for the first time last year. This year's event, boasting a larger size, still consisted of three contests respectively for individual amateurs, professional racers and enterprise groups. Hundreds of contestants participated.

It is worth mentioning that among the contestants are 180 youngsters who competed in their age groups' races. Suzhou Sports Bureau and Education Bureau, co-sponsors of the races, hope the event can help popularize the sport among local youngsters.
